Hi everyone. I have knee and hip arthritis, same side. I just can not get into a comfortable position in bed. Just wondering if anyone has tried any of the leg pillows and if they do really help.
Thanks

Just try an ordinary pillow to start with, rather than spend out on something that may or may not not work. I use bulk standard one for my sacroiliac joint pain, and previously for knee/hip OA - prior to replacements.
Hi, I agree with DorsetLady and try an ordinary pillow. I often think that manufacturers are reinventing the wheel and capitalising on it. Good luck.
I used one today at the hospital while having a CT scan as I cannot lay flat on my back it was brilliant. It was wedge shape and really eased the pain in my lower back and hip.
Hey I have a large wedge pillow which helps with position and comfort try that
HiSorry to hear your struggling to sleep but I also struggled 3 years ago when most of my joints flared at the same time (feet, ankle, knees, shoulders, hands, jaw) … not my hips luckily. I bought a full body pillow and although it felt more comfortable initially I really struggled to move it around once in bed because it was so large - and there is no way I can sleep in the same position all night. So it depends what type of sleeper you are perhaps?
Instead I bought a couple of small rectangular pillows that are usually just for decoration on a bed - but are the perfect size for wedging underneath my knee when I sleep on my back or in the arch of my neck to relieve my back etc. they have a great range of pillows at Dunhelm (in store or on line). Good luck finding your comfortable sleep position 👍
I bought leg pillow and it ended up on the floor now I use a twin size blanket and use that.
