Hello,I have recently been diagnosed with scoliosis, a curvature of the spine. I would like to chat with others who have a similar health problem as the back pain I'm experiencing is beginning to impact on my daily life.

Hi, I’ve just come across your message! I’m sorry to hear that the scoliosis is starting to impact your life! Is your curvature increasing? I was born with it so I have always dealt with it. Hello again, i was told i had a curvature of the spine as a child. I was always being told to stand up straight but it was uncomfortable. I have not had any problem until now and played badminton at county level up until my forties. I'm now waiting for an MRI of my spine. Its become very painful and I am reluctant to go out for any length of time as the pain starts after 20 minutes of being on my feet. I'm taking co codamol for the pain but thinking about getting a back support as I enjoy walking and hope it will help. How do you manage your curvature? Looking forward to hearing from you. X
