Are you seeing a rheumatology consultant? If not you must ask your GP to refer you to one as only a Rheumatologist can prescribe you the drugs necessary to help with your condition.

Hi has this been confirmed with markers in your blood? I was diagnosed with RA but didn't have the markers. 2011. Was allergic to medications Sulphsalazine ( not sure how to spell that)Etc. But since then been told I'm in remission. I wonder if I really had it in the first place? Hurting now though but that my osteoporosis. Hope you get sorted.

Know how you feel when my arthritis flares I can't bear even the slightest touch to my finger joints it's just so painful. Hope you get sorted soon. It's difficult because some people don't understand how bad it is for you.

Osteoporosis, or Osteoarthritis?

Osteoarthritis sorry. Am low on Vit D

I have RA, Osteoarthritis and Osteoporosis and take AdcalD3. Vit D3 is quite reasonable to buy if you can't get it on prescription. Are your hands inflamed as well as painful, if so that might be RA.

I was diagnosed with RA then they said it's gone in remission. When I have a flare up I can not stand the pain in my hand joints. But one of the problems is I never get to see the specialist when in a flare up and I don't have the makers in my blood.thanks for the vit advice will get some. Doctors told me to but I only took them short term and haven't bothered since. Not had a follow up blood test either. At doctors Tuesday for painful hips so will arrange good test then.

Get someone to take photos when your hands flare and show them to Rheumy.
