Wrist Arthritis

I am in my early 80s and have had a form of arthritis off and on in either wrist for about 20 years but just recently I have had a quite severe 'attack'. I also experienced for the first time ever an attack of gout in my left foot. I read an article suggesting that arthritis and gout may happen together - has anyone any experience of this and if so does a gout medication help in any way.My arthritis tends to come and go so it is difficult gauging the effectiveness of treatment but I am always willing to try new ideas!?

Try high strength Turmeric and black pepper tablets. I have suffered from wrist arthritis for years and only in the last few months when I have been taking Turmeric has the pain been greatly lessened.
