Very tired
I wouldn't ha e thought arthritis in the thumb would make you tired. Chronic pain can be very debilitating however, sapping energy and exhausting one mentally.
Has your pain been around for a long time and is it effecting your life ?
What about diet ? The food we consume has real impact on our energy levels and general wellbeing.
If it goes on see you GP.

Pain can cause you to be tired in two ways one is your body is using energy to fight the pain and second is it could be effecting your sleep. I would say mention you are feeling tired a lot of the time which I did, I have chronic pain which cause to be tired but also I had test at the Hospital and they found I had Sleep Apnea. I live with my Brother so he could not say whether I stopped breathing or not, my sleep apnea is not to bad so I have to wear a mask and I have informed DVLA and got the all clear to keep driving. Other things to considers is are you on the computer before you go to bed, also try and get into a routine when you go to bed.
The only connection I have found with tiredness and arthritis is that when I had low levels of red blood cells I used to get some arthritis pains in my hands which disappeared when I was prescribed iron tablets which increased the red blood count. Low red blood count definitely causes tiredness.
I would see your GP who will probably get you to have a simple blood test.
