A good rheumy is a must,u don't state ur age, 1 am 77, and much improved from once a week EMBRIL INJECTIONS, filled out form with Safetynet Corp, qualified for free injections my Rheumtologist did a lot of paperwork too, if u force yourself to walk 20 mins each day and light exercise, 2 Tylenol 3 X a day

You can be a happy again patient. &if u r overweight and do nothing about itπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌU can guarantee an early death from resting too much, easy on pain meds ..ibuprofen will murder your insides slowwwwwly, ( ulcers heartburn, internal bleeding) sure , they help in beginning, Beware, 😑good luck alwaysπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ˜ŠπŸ€πŸ€πŸ·πŸ·πŸ·

Hi HOPE100

I know what its like to be in constant pain. I have arthritis, fibro, and a back injury, I had a knee replacement a year ago and was jubilant for about five seconds because I could walk without a limp and now I have horrific fibro in my knee so Ive a different type of pain.

I had a rotator cuff repair thats in the shoulder region I had two rods and a patch inserted because using my arm was not possible. I bounced back after the knee surgery but unfortunately did not bounce at all after the shoulder surgery. I was on five antibiotics because I developed an infection still have not got full use of my arm the surgery was at the end of January.

I really don't feel the meds work for the pain of fibro. I am on an anti inflammatory and Paracetamol.

I normally don't take anything I use distraction. I do art, meditation, meet up with my friends, listen to music, and read in fact anything I can do for myself that will give me pleasure. I went on a course called Living Well with a Chronic Illness it was run by the Arthritis Society and I learned a lot and started to accept that this is my lot in life before that I was kicking and screaming to get better. There will be some days that are better and some days that are worse but acceptance can be difficult. One last thing I do and I find it helps me a lot I attend counselling once a week I feel it is essential as low mood and sometimes pure sadness envelops me so its so good to unburden.

I hope you get something that might help you. Gentle hugs coming your way.

Hi Hop e 100. Sorry you are having so much back pain. It is horrible.is it your lumber region? Have you had an MRI yet? When you Get the MRI scan results, you can start doing the correct exercises, but you must get a diagnosis first . I found the back pain clinic at our local hospital v good. They start you off with the right exercises for your condition, then you continue this at home, under their guidance. Hope you improve. Slivia.

Thank you so much for replying I'm seeing my Rhemy in April at last and will mention to him! I'm just stuck in a rut atm and can not seem to see light at the end of the tunnel! Thanx for all the advice; sometimes just feeling like your not alone really helps x
