Hie everyone , I am knew here. I was diagnosed with RA in my late forties. Currently taking Methotrexate, Enbrel, Folic acid, ranitidine, sulfasalazine, tramadol and last week , was prescribed morphine. However, I am in pain all the time. I have developed severe back pain and struggle to sit, stand or walk for an average of 30 minutes.

How long have you had your RA my daughter was diagnosed 2years ago the day after her 40th b/day. First year was hell in January this year started to have appointments with the Rheumatology sister at her clinic started off every 2weeks, then every 4weeks , up to every 8weeks now .Just got her pain under control. One thing she advises people is get someone to go with you and if possible go in with you 4ears better then 2

I have been on treatment for RA for about 5 years now but the pain started in my mid thirties and only got the diagnosis when I changed my GP. It is a nightmare but I have an excellent rheumatology team. I attend my appointments by myself, however I read information on RA and try and ask as many questions as possible.
