Salvation from Pax Labs..

I , as many of you know, have been drug free since June 27th 2015. I saw an Internists on Tuesday. He will not approve Actemra until I have another scope. I am at a loss. How long does this continue.? It could be months before a scope is scheduled. What am I to do in the interim. Then when you consider I have responded badly to so many drugs why would this one be any different?

The one thing keeping me sane was my vaporizer. To add to the drama, it broke. Luckily, the Pax Lab honoured the warranty but went far beyond. Not only did they send a new Pax but included several accessories. I am beyond grateful. A friend invited us to dinner Sunday. I was afraid I would have to cancel. The inflammation is clearly out of control and I am back to the start. I am in excruciating pain, fevers, vomitting....I often wonder if doctors have any idea how badly we suffer. Maybe it would be good to start a video diary. They could get a first hand look at how awesome it is to vomit while wetting yourself and having to crawl back to bed because walking is impossible. It is so humiliating. Anyway☀️ Let it rain...I now have my salvation back. The vaporizer has been my only source of relief. Thanks Pax Labs you ROCK💞

Hi Damaged

I suffer from Arthritis fibro gout and have rotator cuff injury and I'm in constant pain. I'm wondering about the vaporiser you mentioned does it help with the pain and what ingredients does it contain. Many thanks.

So sorry to hear what you are going through. I have been on Actemra since January for GCA, prescribed by my rheumatologist. It is working for me with no severe side effects. Can you see a rheumatologist who is much better prepared to wor with GCA. What kind of scope does your internist want to do? Take care, and don't be afraid to have an advocate with you when you see your doctor. GCA is considered an emergency whether being diagnosed or having a severe flare. Best wishes and prayers for you.
