Newly diagnosed
Hi, Hope you haven't got it in your feet I find that the worst to cope with. I'm awaiting a knee replacement followed by the other one at a later date, they say they cannot do anything about my feet or neck just pain medication. I just wonder how they think fixing my knee without doing anything about my feet is going to help my walking. Still hopefully it'll be one pain less, take care
Hi vondel, thank you was only diagnosed last Friday and I was so relieved to have an answer to the reason for the pain I didn't ask my GP enough questions he just gave me volterol, I am going back to see him this morning
Take care
Nice when you finally get the diagnosis, but hard to come to terms with the pain, I can't take pain killers as I wouldn't be able to function, I have it in my hands, knees, neck (with a slipped disc) ankles, hip and elbow, I'm 46 and still struggling, but keep positive and try to keep active. Go to physio and get some exercises, it helps, but won't get rid of all the pain x
Hi Tracey22 thank you I am trying to be positive I can only take paracetamol due to a digestive disease, take care
HI Flossytops 67
Check with your GP it maybe possible that if you take Lansoprazole you may be able to take other stronger pain relievers or antinflammatories. this was the case with me. Hope this helps. Joyce
Hi J_M_P, thank you I will if it gets worse, take care
