I have been on naproxen for years. Occasionally I run out of pills. The pains have got progressively worse recently.mas a full time carer for mum, life gets strenuous. Had blood tests recently and it showed my R A level at 75. Anyone explain what this means?

I am sorry that I cannot answer your question. I have been having pains for years also. I will follow if that's alright as I am curious to know the answer. My diagnosis was my doctor just telling me I had osteoarthritis. I usually take strong bought over the counter paracetamol. Although the doctor has given me naproxen sometimes. I visit an osteopath to try to keep mobile. I wish you well.

Thank you for replying. Please do follow me and I will update soon. What tests have you had? And why are you not consistently taking naproxen? I am in agony without them, even cocodamol don't touch the pain. My mum has OA, but my dad had RA. Mum has very deformed fingers now.

Take care
