NEW APP LGBTQ+ peer support group

Hello everyone

I wanted to let you all know that we are starting a new peer support group for people from the LGBTQ+ community who have experienced psychosis in the perinatal period.

The first meet up will be on Monday 7th October, 7.30-9pm on Zoom.

You can sign up for the meeting here, and read more about what to expect from the meeting, and also watch a video from our peer support volunteer Charity who will be attending the call:

Yes of course - it's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer + community.

This is amazing news for parents in the LGBTQIA+ community. Wanted to extend my appreciation to APP for acknowledging and including us.

If fellow parents here want to know more about what the letters in LGBTQIA+ mean I can recommend this glossary from Stonewall Charity who provide information, support and guidance on LGBTQIA+ inclusion:
