Hi ladies - thank you very much for this forum - I’ve found it really helpful to read about other people’s’ experiences.
I’m almost a year on from my episode and feeling mostly better. However I am really struggling with extreme fatigue and trouble concentrating, and it’s really affecting me now as I’ve just gone back to work.
I’ve very recently come off my antipsychotics but haven’t noticed much of a difference yet.
Just wondering if anyone else experienced this during recovery and if it got better with time.

I had these symptoms when I experienced depression following PP, which is very common. For me, a combination of antidepressants and therapy really helped me, and I am now weaning off antidepressants and back to normal.
Is it something you have been able to discuss with your doctor?
Agree with Skyblue7 well done for getting back to work, it’s a massive achievement. Are they able to support with flexible working if you are noticing times when your symptoms are worse? Hopefully they can support you in some way as it really is difficult when recovering from PP.
Hello Banana_moon, My brain was certainly much slower after coming off anti-pyschotics but it gradually improved. I was also lethargic for some time but got better.
However, there could be other reasons for the fatigue, it could be anaemia or a vitamin deficiency - maybe get your GP to do some blood tests for fatigue.
