Hi Cjheins1988

Welcome to the forum. You may share your story directly on here if you wish. Everyone's story is so individual its great to hear more!

My postpartum psychosis was 21 years ago now. My, where did that go ?! I had PP after my first child but was ok and carefully managed through 2 further pregnancies. I was admitted to a general psychiatric ward as 21 years ago mother and baby units were pretty much unheard of.

I especially like to share my story and give hope to anyone thinking of further pregnancies. Of course PP sometimes strikes on a subsequent pregnancies even if a first birth went ok and PP wasnt an issue. Its a rare illness which I think experts are making great progress with research but still there is a lack of information out there.

I hope by sharing your story you will feel supported by others who have been through a similar thing

Take Care
