Does anyone know of a support group in the South of England or on this site ?for pregnant women suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum ? Although many women have nausea and vomiting during the first few months this is very extreme and often results in hospital admissions ,IV transfusions, weight loss, weakness and depression .Its not understood by many people who believe it is the same as morning sickness..

Its very distressing and has affected my daughter with each pregnancy..

Hi Denizit

Sorry to hear your daughter suffers with each pregnancy. I wonder if the Pregnancy Sickness Support Trust would be able to help and advise at pregnancysicknesssupport.or...? They have a support forum so hopefully your daughter can find other women to connect with.

Take care of yourself too.

I found pregnancy sickness support very helpful. Plus there are some groups on Facebook that are very easy to access - just search hypemesis uk.

Also, as you’ve mentioned about it causing depression do look out for more severe mental health issues. I know how hard it is for a long awaited pregnancy to turn into a nightmare. She may need a lot of emotional support as well as physical

Hello Denizt

I know this is an old post about your daughter but I just wondered how you are? I haven't seen any of your supportive posts here lately and hope your treatment is going well.

Take very good care of yourself. ❤️️

Hello Lilybeth , how very nice of you to get in contact . I hope life is going well for you and you are enjoying the preChristmas time. . I’m currently in Auckland for my sons wedding , and will stay until the end of January. Generally I’m able to meet old friends , enjoy the grandchildren , keep the garden blooming , and watered! The Letrizole side effects are not much fun, and I’ve had a few medical problems , but with slow release pain meds it’s manageable . I know my boys must be very surprised to see I’m no longer energetic , and not v good company much of the time but all the family will be helping with Xmas for 15 here at my place. ! I’m sending you warmest wishes Lilybeth and thanks for thinking of me ! XxDenise

Hello Denizt

Thank you so much for your warmest wishes .... much appreciated as it's only 6 degrees today! I hope it's much warmer for you in Auckland :) I'm sorry the side effects of medication are not much fun and you have had a few medical problems.

How lovely to be in Auckland to celebrate your son's wedding and in such good company with your grandchildren and friends. I hope you have an amazing Xmas at your place with so many enjoying your company and warm hospitality. Take care .... hopefully the warmer weather is good for you. Xx
