Hi Pumpkins,

It's a difficult decision when we have had an episode of PP or are at risk of it. We are not bad mothers, just have had previous experiences which were very difficult and in some ways we feel stigmatised when chatting to those who have not been affected by them. Any professional should be supportive and, well, "professional" about it and not judge you, no matter what the situation. They really are there to help.

The APP website also has some good information, including Guides for Further Pregnancy and Bipolar too: app-network.org/what-is-pp/...

Take care, xx
