AstraZeneca vaccine 3 days ago with side effects

Hey everyone so I had the oxford vaccine on Thursday at 3pm. I was fine until about 8pm when I started shivering, then the fever, stomach pains and headache. Was in bed all Friday feeling awful and then Saturday morning and after noon I felt absolutely fine. Saturday evening I then developed a sore throat and today has been the same. I went for a quick lateral flow test this morning and it was negative but I’ve read any symptoms after 48 hours are not vaccine related so I’m worried it’s COVID and the tests just aren’t that reliable. Anyone else with sore throat or symptoms after 48 hours ?

Hi I had the Oxford vaccine on Friday and I have had those symptoms as well also the injection site is really sore I’m worried too but not about COVID more about this vaccine I hope someone on here can help us, sorry that’s all I can say about it but your not alone

I’ve woken up again with a bit of a sore throat. I think from reading a post on Facebook it is quite common in those who have the side effects so don’t worry too much

I typically react to vaccines 5 days after the jab; it always happens with flu, and did so with the Pfizer vaccination. It all depends on how your immune system responds, and this varies considerably between individuals.
