I’ve been on my health journey for about 2 years now since I was diagnosed with severe anemia and gerd. That got sorted and it’s under control now but over the months I’ve been feeling sicker and sicker every day, week and month. The doctors are only treating my symptoms and not looking for the cause of them. The psychiatrist says I have panic disorder which I know I do, I have severe attacks where I regularly have to go to the ER to get a sedative BUT I am aware of what’s happening. Then there are other times where I collapse and become unresponsive and foggy and shaky and blue and still they say anxiety anxiety anxiety. I’ve taken all the meds they prescribed, done all treatments advised and it’s 2 years later and I feel worse than I did when this started. Something in my body is not right and I can’t feel it, I trust it. Anyone else going through a similar thing?
Sorry for the long passage this is my first time doing anything like this ..

Hello
I have had two experiences in 20 months
I took ill and yes I have anxiety but sometimes I also know when something is wrong and not anxiety related but Doctors jump straight to our anxiety
20 months ago I was told I had a virus , deep down I knew it was more , 2 weeks later I ended up in resuscitation fighting for my life with double pneumonia
Then a few weeks ago I told the Doctors I did not feel well again they did some blood tests 7 out of 8 came back abnormal yet they said we will check them again in 6 months , 3 weeks ago I had a heart attack
I am not saying this to scare you as I know when we have anxiety that is the last thing we need but I am telling you that sometimes we need to be firm and when we really get that gut feeling we need to speak out and make them listen
Sounds like you feel you need more investigations to why you are feeling so bad , you have a right to second opinions , put your foot down go with your gut instincts and tell them you want this getting sorted and not to be told it is all down to anxiety as you know how you feel and your own body and you believe there could be something else which you want answers to
I know it can feel hard to speak out but I have learnt from now on the hard way I certainly will be
Maybe your gerd acid has reached the brain! I was sick like you too. my stomach acid almost making me crazy but I could not feel any pain till the last and then three days after taking acid blocker pantoprazole, those are best okay a little better, I was calm and could sleep and live like an animal again!
