Strange panic symptoms right before pooping

I get like a stránge sinking feeling and panic when my body senses a bowel movement.

I just feel really strange, my heart rate increases, I start to sweat, my legs go all jelly like, I have shortness of breath...then I go for a poop and I usually continue feeling bad for a while after.

Anybody with anything similar and any idea of what it can be and what to do about it?

I have posted about this before but still no solution.

Had that just now Sassical, and you know we have spoken together about this before.

I have come to the conclusion for myself that I am too aware and afraid of any little symptom well, not really symptom.

Just every little ache, pain, twitch, anything different that my body gives me and the panic starts to kick in. I used to be normal with a bm before, but I believe my heightened awareness is doing this to me. Sorry I've not explained myself very well.

It is scary though, I understand... Xx

How are you doing?

You have explained perfectly well and I know this is the case with most of my issues. But in this case it just seems different. Plus it hadn't been happening too badly for a few weeks but it's back again and it's truly horrible.

I know what you mean and it's true that once it starts I get very afraid and panicky but the first feeling is purely physical.

Might try gluten free again...

Yes I agree with you, that first sinking feeling is physical.

I've tried to explain to my doctor, but she just looks at me as though I am crazy. I wonder if anyone else on here suffers the same way.

I did read some articles on the Vagus Nerve that can give you similar symptoms, worth having a research.
