Does anyone know
Meleina, of course everyone is different but my migraines use to be one sided
causing one sided pain and blurry vision. I could always feel it stem from the
neck and back of the scalp. Like a spasm/knot. Once the headache was gone,
I was left with tight neck muscles. If it's something different for you, always have
it checked out. Feel better real soon. xx
Sounds like a migraine
Hello. Yes they can be related. As I've posted before. My trap muscles the muscles all the way up my neck were so tight I cause alot of headaches, vision issues my scalp would hurt. A lot of tension for me.
Some neck pain is due to entrapped nerves. The occipital nerves run from the right and left sides of the neck at the back, and on over the top of the head to the eye area, and also the lesser occipital nerves which run up the side of the neck from the shoulder around the ears, and back down the shoulder, even to the hand. I have had extreme pain from both, which took several bouts of pain shots from my Neurologist to get rid of. I had thought I was trying to sleep on the wrong pillow, but he said that was not the case. It has nothing to do with MS either. I take gabapentin 300 and also have diclofenac cream to apply when it gets extremely painful.
Yes it can if there is pressure on a nerve.
I would think a sesion of two with a chiropractor would be the way to go on this.
