Scar healing?

Here’s a photo of my scar, 10 days post operation. It looks like is hasn’t crusted over and they’re gaps in it. Welcome your thoughts?

I think I see some underlying redness which could indicate an infection. Why haven't you seen your doctor ? Soon rather than later would work. Pam

Thanks for answering. I saw my doctor yesterday although he didn’t look at the scar. Temperature is 36, there’s some redness near my middle but that’s my skin reacting to the adhesive I think?

Well if you notice any more redness or heat from your incision or if you feel bad in general have someone take a look. Take care. Pam

For 10 days post op it looks good😊the swelling and bruising will go down with time. As far as the incision goes it looks like they did internal sutures and perhaps some glue on external. So don’t worry about it crusting over, sometimes they don’t. As I’m sure your dr relayed to you, call with fever above 100 ( although a low grade fever sometimes happens post op) or if you see redness spreading or anything oozing from site. I hope you are resting, drinking lots of water, and walking around the house as tolerated? You can ice it if the pain is bad and this also helps with reducing swelling. Take care of yourself❤️
