I’m having aniexty about a Pap smear. Can anyone talk?

I feel you on this! I got my first one done like 3 years ago but I was really scared about it. First thing I did was find a top rated doctor, it's very reassuring on my nerves to know I was in good hands and others trusted them too. It does hurt at all either, more of a minor discomfort if anything. One of the most important things to remember, they are there to help you! Hey lovely! What is making you anxious about the Pap Smear?

I have had many and never found it painful. From when I enter the nurses room to when I’m out the door takes less than 3 minutes. So quick and then you can get on with the rest of the day.

Hey anxiousgirl! I often get myself all worked up before I go in, but that is how I always am prior to a doctor appointment lol. Like others have said, it is quick and relatively painless. The peace of mind you’ll get afterwards makes it all worth it.
