I’m currently on 0.5 Xanax twice a day, but usually I’ll only take half or one to get me through the day because I had feeling like I need something. I’ve been on this dose for about 4 years now. I forgot to refill my prescription 1 day before the expiration date and the pharmacy won’t fill it. And I’m completely out after today. Has anyone quit cold turkey with Xanax I’m so afraid of seizures. It’s about to send me into a panic attack just thinking about it. My doctor won’t refill them until the 17th. I’m clueless...

Highly unlikely you'll have seizures, however you are very likely to be quite uncomfortable because you have almost certainly developed a physical dependence. Talk got your doctor, the 17th is a long way off and stopping benzo meds cold turkey is usually a miserable experience, but fortunately you have been on a low dose so its possible it won't be terribly difficult.
