I have a nuerology appointment coming up next month, I'm a little apprehensive, has anyone else had one, and what happened?
Nuerology appointment??: I have a nuerology... - Anxiety Support
Nuerology appointment??
Morning!
I had a head MRI scan and later had a neurology appointment for my migraines. Lots of sight tests (some similar to what you get at the opticians) a few different scans and questions about my symptoms. The Doctor and the nurses were lovely - nothing to be worried about, in fact it was very comfortable as they did their best to help me.
Turns out I have Drusen, which isn't the cause of my migraines but there's something! Never got to the bottom of the migraine thing, but I understand now that it might be genetic.
It depends what you're there for, but in my experience it was all fine and I'm sure you will be too. If you're anxious perhaps get a friend or relative to go along with you, or call the hospital beforehand and they may be able to tell you what to expect.
I hope it all goes well for you x
Hi. I hope you're doing okay.
Thank-you for taking the time to reply to me. I've been referred about my 24/7 unbalanced/dizziness/lightheadedness.
I've had all the usual tests like bloodwork, balance clinic, ct scan, seen an ENT, and last month I had a head mri that was all clear, so I'm nor sure whay they will be doing at the nuerology appointment as everything else seemed to be fine and that it's most likely all anixety based.
It sounds silly but I'm somehow got it into my head that they are going to push the bones in by my jaw and things like that set off my panic etc. Perhaps I've just overloaded myself by watching too many videos about nuerology on YouTube.
I will definitely take someone with me. X
Yes. 2 years ago I saw one who I loved! I lost vision in my right eye and again a month later but went completely blind for an hour. She tested me for everything and anything under the moon , to find out I was stressing myself to much! Ugh now it has escalated to anxiety and panic attacks.
