Sertraline

Hello I’ve been taking sertraline for health anxiety since mid February, started on 25mg then 50mg and been on 100mg for about 3 weeks. I feel so unwell on this dose, upset tummy full of wind and my body is aching so much. Thinking I might ask my doctor to go back on 50mg. Anyone else suffered like this? My symptoms seem worse than ever!

If your concerned speak to your doctor, and it is up to you whether you want to change the meds. If you feel like they are no good i would definitely change.

I stopped my sertraline last week cold turkey, i dont recommended doing that but im taking cbd oil for the withdrawal symptoms which helps. Sertraline worked for me for about 2 months and i spiraled out of control again and didn't want to up it anymore due to having to come of a high dose at some point from constantly upping the dose.

When upping my dose i would constantly feel like i had the flu.

My symptoms were nausea all the time, gagging, diarrhea, off my food, eventually didnt help the panick at all and insomnia. Since stopping last week and using my cbd i have slept like a baby, anxiety is still here but it can take 4 weeks.

Hi thanks for responding my doctor said to take the dose back down to 50mg didn’t get side effects on that. My body feels like it’s been kicked all over! Whilst they have helped somewhat with anxiety I don’t like what I am doing to myself.
