It's probably a muscle spasm try a warm bath or shower, if symptoms persist maybe you can see your doctor for a check up

Had this for weeks thought something was seriously wrong and felt like eveyrone could see me doing it, but I found as the anxiety and tension went down so did the neck twitching and pain.

I have only had anxiety for about 8 months but I can tell you that this is honestly nothing to worry about. I had this for just over a month and I experienced terrible pains and stiffness with it. I too thought this was something extremely serious. I thought it was going to twitch once more and I was going to die 😂 I promise though, this does pass and I found that it was due to an upcoming event that I had built up in my head to be something big and scary which ended up to be fine. I would suggest that if there is anything in particular that you are extremely worried about at the moment, try to break it down and think of it lightly 😊
