Pls help

Why do i have this fear of growing up? Of change? I remeber being 7 and afraid to go to 3rd grade. I remeber towards the end of 6th grade and feeling sad becsuse im starting highschool. I remember being sad because i was 14 and a half. Now i just turned 18 and im terrified to finish school..i wish i could be 14 again.

I think all of us sometimes get a little afraid of change and growing older is one of those aspects of life that screams change right?

But you mentioned all those other changes that you went through and it sounds as if you ended up coping and even enjoing the process in the end to the point now that you don't wish you were seven again you wish you were 14 and a half...why, were those particularly good time?

If you were worried before then and went on to have an amazing time, make new friends etc then you can probably feel safe in the knowledge that it will happen that way again.

Think of the new friends, the new adventures, loves, parties, fun and excitement to be had as you go into the next stage of your life.

Sit down and write out what you would like to have happen in your, relationships, work, and free time, what would you like to accomplish over the next year? Write all this down and move forward with excitement and joy knowing you have the power in you to have all that you want.

You will have an amazing time.

I used to fear getting older but not anymore now I am 28 as I realise some people will never get my age as I’ve had people from my school year die and that makes me live more and enjoy getting older and know it’s a privilege not everyone gets.
