Citaliopram

If anyone’s taken this how long to see any results I’m 4 weeks on Friday taking it on Friday and had really bad foggy brain and depersonalisation and my anxiety is through the roof of anybody knows or can advise me if I need to change meds or keep going?! Xx

I'm going on 8 weeks and just starting to notice a difference started on 20 mg for a month and on 40 mg now for a month. I also take 2.5 mg of valium when needed.

Oh that long! Have you had bad side affects with it? I’m not sure they are for me?? Xx

Hi. Did you find that when youbupped your dosage of citalopram your anxiety was heightened again?

I have been on citalopram for 5 weeks and just over 2 weeks have been on 20mg. I'm finding that even though I'm smiling and laughing again I'm finding it hard to concentrate again. Like I'm getting through the day but I'm so aware of the anxiety. Xx

Yea I still get that some days but the valium helps alot I was concerned about still having such hi anxiety still so I talked to my doc he said we might have to add something to the citalopram but wants to wait little longer

I was the same but I want to wait and see if it settles I’ve read that once it does it’s amazing so fingers crossed it works for us! Xx

So do you think it could pass? Cause I feel 20 has been working quite well up until the last couple of days? It's like I have a feeling of derealisation? Have you experienced that? Xx

Maybe talk see if you could up it if you think you need to maybe ask about a small dose of valium it helps me a lot. I didn't experience any dere alization mainly tired headaches woozy heightened anxiety but the valium helps with most of that

I had to reduce sown to 10 mg a day I took it last night and have felt great today so far..... I would imagine every increase in dose you will get the same symptoms this is what I’m dreading xx

I only had about 2 days of feeling woozy when I upped to 40 mg.
