Dominique, I read most of your posts. What you describe is severe anxiety and panic attacks. Yes it is very scary and very uncomfortable. Personally I hate having symptoms of anxiety, chest pains, numbness in face, twitches, heart palpitations, pins and needles in hands and feet. The list goes on and on. Have you tried anything? Possibly seeing a therapist? I find exercise and eating healthy helps out a lot. Staying away from alcohol, drugs, any sort of stimulants such as caffeine and energy drinks. Also focus your thoughts on the present, rather than the symptoms. The more you think about the symptoms the worse they get. Remember our mind is very powerful place and sometimes we need to retrain how we think. Good luck and I hope this helps.

How would a therapist help? Not saying I don't need one I just don't know what good if can do, I don't normally struggle with anxiety so this is all new to me

Unbiased opinion and they are professionals. Its not for everyone, but seeing one doesn't hurt and it may help you. I was skeptical at first, but mine helped me out a lot. Also deep breathing techniques help especially when you are having a panic attack. Take about 10 deep breaths and focus on your breath.

Have a look on Youtube at Noah Elkrief. He give excellent talks abt Anxiety and Depression. Plus you can watch the same video several times so that his message really sinks in. He gives help with reasoning it all out and a different perspective to overcome the fears and panic attacks. Try it. Pauline x

I saw the verse you posted. Thanks for sharing. Also read your earlier post. I read the one where you had your tingling sensations. Yep. That sounds like a panic attack. They feel so horrible and dreaded. But you having nothing you need to worry about but that is easier said than done.

God has plans for you but the answer you are looking for may not be as easy or obvious as you may think it is. I am in my mid 40s and I have made a life out of "secretly" worrying. I say secretly because worry can take so many forms today that you believe you are really doing good. Such as being kind... but really fearing judgement... sacrifices your desires for another's... but really fearing failure of your own choices. Saying sorry... but really feeling you have no value and you are worthless...

I hope that makes a bit of sense. I am only figuring it out now for the first time. Please keep posting and let us know how you are doing.

Hi Dominique,

Hang in there. This feeling brushes over all of us at some point. It does pass. Get in touch with nature in some way. It helps me. Just a suggestion of course.
