JazNaz I like the saying you posted. Worrying about something we have no control of, robs us of the moment we are in. What are some of the things you are using to not let anxiety take control? Just wondering, we all have different methods that work for us. x

Hello ! Im sure you've heard of the cliche "mind over matter". Well with my anxiety I learned that we need to deal with our situation differently and see our world as "'matter over mind". Anxiety is a very evil illness but I refuse to let it take over my life and make me a victim. The one positive thing I learned about anxiety is that it opens your eyes to how short life is . We anxiety warriors tend to obsess about death because we fear it . I learned to change that fear into the fuel I need to live a fulfilled life . Currently I am taking baby steps to deal with my condition . My anxiety tends to vary and can range from tolerable to very severe and frightening . I don't use medication so I'm dealing with it "naturally" and training my mind and body . Whenever I feel anxious I do some breathing exercises , and remind myself of all the times that I've survived worse anxiety attacks . At home I always heat up burning oils , and while researching I found that lavender scent is suppose to help. I cut my sugar and caffeine intake being as though I notice that both contribute to an increase in anxiety . Most importantly , I'm trying my very best to surround myself with positivity . We need positive energy to get through this !
