Hi Marisol91, anxiety meds will tend to help heart palps if it is a tranquilizer more than an SSRI will. However, you still have to do some work as well by practicing relaxation, deep breathing or other techniques that will calm the body and mind. Having therapy while on medication works hand in hand. Meds may be helpful but are not the total answer.

Wish you my best dear.

I have had medication that caused really bad palpitations Have you read the leaflet as it could be a side effect I went back to doctor and she wasn't at all surprised and changed me to something else

I hope that might be what it is and you feel much better

If you continue to have heart palpitations try not to worry too much about them they are normal in anxiety and won't harm you

Lots of relaxation techniques like deep breathing meditation tensing and letting go etc and they should get less and less

All the best
