Setraline

Hiya is anyone on Setraline for anxiety/panic attacks? I have previously been on them years ago but I'm intrigued to see if anyone else is on them & see what they say about them.

Yes I am on 100 mg, but am having a bit of a rough patch and panicking just as much as before at the moment. I've been on them several months and was on them before that for a period of time. How do you find them?

I hope you're ok! How long have you been on them? I got prescribed them a couple of weeks ago but ice just took my first one tonight as I've been anxious to take them due to side effects but I bit the bullet & took it. I was on them years ago & came off the 4yr ago when I fell pregnant but I feel they helped me along with cbt.

Hi this time round I've been on them for about 4 months. To start with I felt slightly woozy but that went after several days of taking them. I've always got anxious about taking medication too , but you did really well to just go ahead and start them. You will be fine on them and give it a couple of weeks and things will start to improve.

Hi, I've taken them in the past for anxiety. I started on half a tablet for a week then went up to the full tablet. Initially they made me feel a bit sick but that lasted a few days. They helped me enormously at the time, I did think about going back on them recently due to a recent trauma but I've managed to get through without them. But I think if someone feels they need that extra help and support by taking medication for a while then it's there choice. It's just finding what's right for you. If you try it and don't like it then you need to talk to your doctor and come off it. Good luck.
