A lot of mornings I wake up and feel like I csnt take a deep breath. It causes my mind to obsess and then I start focusing on my breathing for a long time. I'll fall back asleep and wake up and it will happen again. How do I break this cycle ?

Upon waking up
I have this also. Not every day but some mornings I feel very short of breath and feel panicked by it then spend all day worring about it! Tbh if it isn't one thing it's another with me but distraction can help. I went to the doctors today about my breathing and they are running blood tests and won't me to have a chest x ray done, so I am pretty sure I will spend the next few days worring about that! I hope you feels better soon. x
I don't understand how anxiety can make you feel so short of breath. I find it very frustrating. It makes me constantly question myself, like is it actually anxiety. Drives me crazy!
I had this, but I didn't know it was anxiety back then. I would do exactly like you, wake up to go to sleep to then wake up and go to sleep again. You really should incorporate more daily activities even if you get these physical symptoms. Every time you can't breathe, go and take a walk, do anything that will help you cope with what you're feeling.
