I have been given zopiclone to sleep but woke up after 2 hours. Has anyone had experience of it not working? Not sure what else to do?

I was given this to sleep initially but was only on it for a week and found it didn't work all the time. Then the doctor prescribed me mirtazapine (which is an antidepressant but also has a sedative effect so you take it at night) which I found more effective in helping me sleep. I've had slept virtually every night since being on this. I would go back to your GP and see what else they can offer you. I was told I could only have Zopiclone for 2 weeks as it was addictive. Good luck - hope this helps.
