I’m scared to sleep because that means when I wake up tomorrow it’s our cruise day. I should be excited but I’m very nervous. Eating is hard for me when I’m anxious so idk how I will eat tomorrow. I’m just very scated

Oh Daisy, I know exactly what you are going through. (not the cruise) but the

anticipation. It affects every aspect of our being until we take that step into

the unknown and see that there was nothing to fear. All this time it was anxiety

playing with our mind. Keep writing to us. I think letting out your fears will help

some knowing that we understand and have felt the same fears with different

situations. :) xx

I'm no stranger to anxiety and phobia. I understand how you must feel if this cruise scares you. I have a fear of water, and might feel a bit nervous about a cruise as well (I've never been on one).

Force yourself to eat something tomorrow, even if it is small and you have to force it down.

I don't know if this will help, but maybe imagine yourself actually having fun doing some activity on the cruise, and then thinking to yourself how it wasn't quite as bad as you thought. Give yourself permission to feel the fear and anxiety, but maybe there is also something to gain from it that you might also enjoy? Maybe you will be safe. What if it is a really cool experience?

I hope you are able to get a bit of rest. I empathize with your anxiety, and hope that things go well for you.
