Living with Myself - My Journey thus far

This post will hopefully be positive for others as well as myself. I have been through ups and downs, and even now, I still have them.

BUT I AM COPING!

It was a long transition phase to get used to the meds, it was hard. BUT IT GETS BETTER. I still get feelings of not wanting to wake up and putting that first foot on the ground. BUT I AM GETTING STRONGER. Replace neagtive "buts" with positive ones. Re-eva;uate yourself constantly as you may see changes you have not noticed before. I tried this method and it is really helping me learn more about myself in this state and dealing with everything on a daily basis. If I feel down I tell myself this - "BUT YOU ARE STILL FIGHTING". And it's not a bad fight! It's a fight of discovery, a fight of learning, a fight of feeling. POSITIVE BUTS AND POSITIVE FIGHTS = a new self discovery.

I am going to give an example ... LOVE. If you still have love, start loving yourself. If you love yourself, you will fight to stay alive, and when you do this, your "but" will kick in and say "BUT I WANT TO LIVE". Once you can do this, start fighting more with yourself positively. "I am ugly" should turn into "BUT I HAVE BEAUTIFUL EYES THAT SEE THE WORLD DIFFERENTLY, I HAVE GOOD HEARING THAT CAN LISTEN TO BEAUTIFUL MUSIC, I HAVE A GOOD NOSE THAT CAN SMELL THE MORNING DEW ON FLOWERS, I HAVE A MOUTH THAT CAN TASTE GREAT FOOD, AND I HAVE FEELING TO FEEL WONDERFUL TEXTURES". Once you can see and feel this again, your will to live will increase, your will to learn will give you something to live for, and your will to accept someone to fight alongside you will make you less lonely.

GO OUT AND DO SOMETHING FOR YOU! Be selfish! Your space, good or bad, is yours, but sometimes you have to step outside and see who you are becoming. If you are unable to see it, stepping outside may let others see it. ACCEPT COMPLIMENTS as they show your growth and that you are indeed changing.

ASK FOR HELP - I am no doctor, but I have walked a path for a while now and I feel great this morning. I am willing to talk to anyone who just needs someone to listen. This is just what I have done, but I recommend everyone does this.
