Does anyone here get depressed when you’re not working? Or when you have literally nothing to do places to go? I feel like I’m doing well when I work then finally on my weekends I crash I just want to lay down and sleep which becomes almost like agony to be present. And what do you do to keep busy?

Browny, hello I’m sure there’s scientific reasons and all but don’t know why, comes down to the brain.

it’s a fact though with nothing but time on your hands depression can run the show if you don’t busy yourself with something. it also will take over and keep you from wanting to do anything.

When I was in my outpatient group they always encouraged a weekend plan.

Maybe jot down a few things you can do and make an attempt.

Weekends or days off are supposed to help us recharge. I don't believe both days should be chock full of stuff. Take one day and do nice things for yourself, even if it's watching a movie.

Hi Browny71, Just a quick question if I may. Do you have depression and you are exhausted or are you tired from work and feeling exhausted, perhaps heading for a breakdown in your wellbeing?

Either way, don't ignore

the warning ⚠️ signs and keep overly busy.
