my friends just keep calling me to have a game night with them. I know this is not a bad thing. But we have finals coming up and even though they don’t study, they end up doing well. They come over, force me, call me stubborn and a menace and then go. I end up not being able to study or sleep. I have told them about this before but they don’t seem to care.

But I feel like if I don’t do what they want, things won’t go well for me

and I feel like the reason I don’t want to go also has something to do about my social anxiety

I use to feel that way as well. Studying didn't come easy for me as my mind would

wander. I'd find myself at the bottom of the page and not remember how I got there.

Because of that, I refused many a social event so I could concentrate on what was

important to me. We all have choices in life. Whether others like it or not, that is

on their shoulders. xx
