Have a break and try again when you feel ready.

It's no good getting yourself stressed and upset over it.

I remember having problems in filling out and sending an online form for a new job and made a hash of it and they sent it back to me!

The world didn't end and I resent it and everything was fine!

Nowadays I look back and laugh and look at how much better I have become with practice since those days!

I assume it would be the bureaucracy that you are talking about. They always turn up at the most inopportune time like a bad penny. It also annoys me like hell that older people/those at a disadvantage are being basically left behind by the ever accelerating adoption of technology for the sake of “efficiently.” Having said that, is there anybody in your orbit that can help you out?

Concerning your mindset, it would be rather asinine on my part to say don’t worry. Rather, I would suggest three things, firstly try and make this into a mole hill rather than having your brain lump it together with everything else (turning into an insurmountable mountain). Secondly, perhaps grab a paper and pen, and when a little more calm, make a memo of what actually needs to be done. Then refer to that memo again and again to bring you back if your thoughts start going in the wrong direction. Thirdly, would it be possible to break down the task that you have been set into a number of stages? You might then be able to do each in turn over a number of days rather than trying to get everything done all at once and getting anxious as a result.

Man can I relate. Same crap for me. Reiminder to go slowly. Chip away at the task.

Maybe ,if you have the wherewithal either look for a friend or if that’s not possible for maybe a college student or youth that can help you with the technical side sometimes

Keep looking my friend for solutions for symptoms. I’ve suffered since I was 24 and I’m 67 years old now and in 2022 i found huge huge relief. Before that relief it felt like my brain had 5 pounds weights hanging off the inside of my skull and a fog so dense, a chainsaw couldn’t cut it. Also, my body had such problems. I couldn’t even throw a baseball to my grandson.

Turns out I was heavily under medicated

Not what you're looking for?
