Anyone else have serious sinus pressure caused by anxiety? They pulsate . My initial ENT consultation said possible tension from anxiety but sent for a CT scan just in case. Been waiting for those results for 6 weeks now

I Think if it was anything serious going on they would of been in touch ….probably the report shows nothing untoward so not priority ….p.s. disclaimer I’m only qualified to unblock your toilet

Kimbad, I have anxiety and sinus issues but they have never been linked by my healthcare team. If you can take it, I have had the most luck with Ibuprofen and guaifenesin. Also please don't feel intimidated and like you can't call and get an update. It can be hard, so if it helps maybe sit with a friend of family member as a Hype-'man' when you do. They may have missed reaching out or even gotten the wrong contact info.

I would call them. And I read somewhere that a lot of people with anxiety also have allergies and such. I know I do. I use a sinus flush thing you can buy at Walmart for not much. Also like BlueKitty said Guaifenesin (Musinex) works sometimes.

Call them just to verify nothing is going on. 6 weeks is way too long to wait for results. Results are usually available fairly quickly.
