I hit my head on the corner of a cabinet today while making dinner. I have this fear of getting a concussion because I don’t want to throw up, and I’m scared that I have one. I hit it kind of hard. There it a little scrape/mark. My head hurts a little but only in the spot where the cabinet nicked me. I don’t know how to stop myself from spiraling.

Concussions do not automatically lead to throwing up. I am not a doctor, but my gut feeling is that you do not have a concussion. My son had 3 as a child/teenager, and his symptoms were different. Nonetheless, if you continue to be concerned, go to an urgent care center.

Not all concussions lead to that, and I am speaking from an unfortunate personal experience. (but I wasn't sick afterwards - definitely shaken up - but not sick)

Thank you!! I think I’m okay. I have a heache this morning but I think it’s allergies
