I’m grateful that we completed our first week of homeschool for the year. I’m inspired and no longer burnt out.

I appreciate all the people who focus on for what they are grateful, but I often feel such pressure to manufacture gratitude (and I acknowledge that I am lucky to have food, shelter, etc.) and gloss over the rest. Thank you, Wakeboarder24.

SoporRose There are about 3 things that i am sincerely grateful for on a regular basis....#1 Every day I wake up to fight the darnkess....I am grateful.....I am grateful to have a loving mother and stepfather who understand my darkness and help me fight it every day....also grateful for being overall of pretty good health....the rest i fight along with everyone else...

And those are all things for which to be grateful! I'm so glad you have people who care about you and understand through what you are going. I think that makes a huge difference.

Hidden I am grateful for the rain we had today.....it made the temperatures bearable...the last 5 days the actual temperature has been in the hi 90s with the feels like temperatures in the 115's.....

Hey there books what type of books you like? I like suspense. Like Katin Slaughter and Scott Pratt amongst others

Fiction, nonfiction, poetry, mainstream fiction, genre fiction... I used to get lost in a library for hours.

A good story is fun, I like that. Good writing can be wonderful or tedious. The ne plus ultra: good writing and good story all in one package. Mr. Poe comes to mind.

I'm sticking pretty much to short-shorts, or simple poetry these days. My mind isn't what it once was. Sometimes I find a forgotten childhood treasure and savor it again. I've been having fun with The Thousand and One Nights (The Tales of Scheherazade) lately.

My all time favorite suspense, is a novela by Ira Levin. A Kiss Before Dying.
