You brought up a memory from when my daughter was young.

A little girl, half her size, was following her everywhere for days, regularly hitting or kicking her. Finally my daughter fought back and sent the girl home crying.

The girl's Mom came out and threatened to beat up my daughter.

I went ballistic when I heard, and called the police.

I didn't know how they'd take it when I explained my daughter beat up a girl half her size, but it went as well as can be expected. They went next door and spoke to the girl's Mom, then came back and told me it wouldn't happen again.

The next part is is nasty, don't read if you're not up to it.

Shortly after the police left I heard the little girl screaming through the walls: "Mommy No! Please don't beat me Mommy! I'm sorry, please no!" It went on and on. (I made a call, but nothing changed.)

I ran into the officer at a later date and told him what happened. He said Ya. They knew that was going to happen. Based on the little girl's violence I guess.
