What are people's experiences with trying to in cooperate exercise into their mental health management plan for depression?

So it took me a while to really get back into the exercising… I had to start very small and focus on the exercises most motivating and pleasurable to me or I probably wouldn’t have kept it up. I am at 45 minutes a day of floor exercises like crunches and also squats and weights then walks which will soon to turn into jogs then maybe start running again. A positive mindset is important. As you get liking it or at least doing well with an exercise add another exercise when u r ready and add to the time you spend.
