Ive hit a rough spot in life. Mentally and financially. I'm trying my best to have a positive outlook for the future but its getting harder and harder every day. sometimes i just wanna escape t o a black box so i can't hear or see anything, nor can i feel anything. How do you push towards the next day, or have a positive outlook on life no matter the situation?

I take a step back and I try and look others less fortunate than me and realize how lucky I am.

When I get that feeling that I need to escape I’ve started listening to it. I take time away from everyone and ignore my phone for awhile. Going for a walk, eating out alone, shopping/window shopping, etc. has helped me. It gives me time to decompress, gather my thoughts, make lists, etc. Sometimes I think I get so caught up in everything that I need this time alone to breathe and regroup.

Hi @sashaonly how are you doing? I'm so sorry you're dealing with so much and I just want to encourage you not give up.

I don't know how strong your faith is but what really helps me when I'm going through tough times is praying and reading my bible which has so many encouraging verses. As I meditate on some of these verses in the bible, I get so much peace and courage to push through the rough times.

Below is a verse which really encourages me and I thought to share it with you with the hope that it encourages you too.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

Sending you much hugs and strength ))).
