I need advice

My mom has been driving me crazy, shes been sick lately and I been helping her but shes been wanting me to do everything for her...I don't mind helping her but she is driving me crazy and if I do something it's not perfect for her and then she gets mad at me and I haven't been working because work hasn't had much work for us so I only worked Thursday last week and been not working till Thursday and It just makes me depressed....cuz I want to go do things but I can't cuz my mom is sick.

We aren't obligated to help other people, even though it can feel that way especially when they are family. It's too bad that even though you are willing to help, it's still not good enough, that has to be incredibly frustrating for you. You are very kind for wanting to help out your mum.... But you gotta keep an identity of your own too. You have permission to do that...

The stress and exhaustion from being a caregiver is real. When it's a family member I feel it can be particularly depressing because of all of the emotional ties.

Is there any other family member you can reach out to for help? What would your mom do in the case that you had to work?
