I'm new

hey everybody I'm new here I don't know what I am supposed to talk about but I think it's a good start to share my current situation sooo... I'm having my final exams now and I think that I might get F in the past two exams and I don't know what to do or how to tell my parents as they get furious if I ever got anything less than B but I've just started the college and the subject isn't written in our mother language and so couldn't study it well and the biggest problem facing me is that I'm scared that they're going to hit me, especially mum she almost hits me on every little mistake, I remember my brother didn't get a good mark about two years ago so dad hit him to the point he had to go to the hospital so I terrified of what they are going to do with me if I got F and I can't stop thinking about that which makes me unable to study to the coming exams😖😖

hi! Welcome to this forum. I’m very sorry for what you are experiencing at the hands of your parents. I don’t know how these things work in your country but is there anyone, perhaps at your school, that you can reach out to and talk to? Or a doctor or therapist? There is no excuse for abuse. This forum is a great place to start and hopefully you can get better answers from others here around the globe. I’m thinking about you hoping you can find the assistance that you need right now.🙏

That sounds horrible, I'm really sorry you're going through that. Would it be possible for you to hide your grade from your parents or not bring up your exams at all?

I could but the problem is that they will know in the end because we have to pay 5000 for each exam we fail in and we don't work so 😣
