Feeling helpless when trying to support other.

I and my wife both suffer from anxiety and depression. She has currently left on a retreat to disconnect and "find her smile" as she puts it. When she does this my anxiety goes through the roof, cause I never know if she is going to come back. When I go to tell her I miss her she doesn't want to hear it. I can't help but feel I'm loosing her and there is nothing I can do.

Currently going thru just about the same situation with my wife. She told me yesterday that she wants to go away to clear her mind ,body & soul. My thing is running away from what you're dealing with is only a temporary fix. It's still there once you return.
