I have always suffered with migraines, headaches and tension headaches since I was a child.
These days my tension headaches have become constant especially before, during and after my periods. Also, this year I have noticed whenever my forehead gets warm, a red circle appears. This is not normal is it?
I have contacted my GP regarding these tension headaches and she has given me a timetable to fill out. I have to note these headaches for the next 2-3 months.
I feel it's more of a hormonal headache and when I get them my speech is slurred, sensitive to light, difficult concentrating and make me feel very down and depressed in myself.
Does anyone else have these symptoms and if so can you offer any advice?
Thanks!

Hi this is Shnookie from the U.S. I’m 63 and obviously 🙄 finished with getting my periods But When I was menstruating I had horrendous migraine type of headachesI have also had tension, sinus and hellacious headaches since I’ve been 9. I’m going to a neurologist now and receiving lidocaine shots and special pain meds for my headaches. I would suggest U ask your GP for a neurological consultation to start with.
Then there are other tests such as a head MRI, lumbar puncture to properly analyze your pain. I’m here 4 U. U can also personally message me.
Oh I did not know that as I rarely use this site these days. I only use if I ever need advice or help others with any other related issues. It's been a while though.
Hi 👋 it’s Shnookie. Sorry about you and your sister’s headaches. Now I do get a terrible knot in the left side back of my head. Hopefully I will get the shot into the back of my head this week. It usually helps for about 3 months at a time. Check out going to a neurologist for the pain. Good luck to U guys. Hugs 🤗 Shnookie
