Anyone wean off Effexor to try another medicine?

Yes. I didn't have any problem with withdrawal although its infamous for rough ones. Be sure the dr is taking you down slowly. Good luck to you.

I took my last 37.5 Effexor capsule yesterday after being on 75 mg for3 months. Not sure if I have great anxiety currently from the withdrawal or preexisting anxiety conditions.Not sure what symptoms I will have and for how long. Very scary.

I wish you an easy withdrawal. Its so hard to know, but I had to go off once and did fine. so it is possible not to have major withdrawal symptoms. Let me know how it goes for you.
