Sleep Terrors Anyone?

I’ve been on 10mg Citalopram for 2 years but having terrible sleep terrors and have even hit my husband during them. Is this normal and would changing to another one help? We’re both so tired all the time as we’re not sleeping properly. I take them for anxiety and low moods and feel worse due to disturbed sleep. Is there one that won’t give me sleep problems?

get them very regular worrying ones according to my Mrs I`ve even injured myself as well but they started before I was on meds.

Thanks for replying. They’re horrible aren’t they? Mine are because of antidepressants

yeah my Mrs said I can be quite violent my 1st bad one was before meds but more regular being on them.

I’ve had them every night for a week so have got worse now, I normally have them 2 or 3 times a week. I’ll have to speak to my gp and see if there’s another med that won’t give me these problems. Hope yours settle down
